Local Summer Camp

Every year during the month of June and July a two to four week camp occurs on the grounds of Kuwait Riding Center. Children from ages 6 to 18 are accepted. The campers start the evening with Stable Management, which teaches them how to groom, lead, approach, and feed the horses. They also learn parts of the taka and some parts of the horse’s body. Campers then start riding the horses in a group lesson where they will learn all the basics of riding. At the end of the week the campers have a games and BBQ night. Graduation of all campers happens at the end of the camp and parents and friends are invited to celebrate with the camper’s achievement.
